  1. They are technically correct. A recession is more than 2 quarters of negative gdp growth. It's just, the other indicators, we don't really give an f about. It's just so it looks like we are doing more.... We can't collect big salaries if we actually show what we do all day. Also, with new positive data today, we may avoid a technical recession, although I would argue, what that number says is irrelevant, high energy is f'ing with the economy. This isn't big to me though. Hurts Americans short term, prices will come back down. Countries can't stop corporations from making money. Just will never happen.

  2. New economic data today suggests we narrowly avoid a recession. Doesn't really matter, it's just numbers, but good for stonks.
