  2. Here's my thing about the electric car, solar panels, etc. I live in Cali and I asked my sister about it and she said she can't get solar/battery because it's too expensive. I tell her, California electric car subsidies will raise the price of electricity. But also, if you can't afford it, how can anyone else? She makes well over 6 figures and is in a 2 income household. So essentially, we will subsidize all the wealthy people to buy vehicles first. This is the issue with California. It's all idiotic diversity inclusion equity, with no actual thought behind it. They wanted to charge solar users a grid fee. What do rich solar users do? Disconnect from the grid. Which lowers the grid resilience they wanted from having home solar and backup. They're just stupid. Before you ask why don't I move? My job requires me to be in extremely wealth dense areas, and California has those and most of them are in liberal states. I can't escape it. New York or California.
