  1. 5:50 not only do we have a Refinery shortage, we don't want to be in the refinery business because the refinery business makes no freaking money. I check my lyondellbasell investor reports every quarter. Making money on the refinery business is an anamoly. Normally, it's a loss. I don't understand why the business sucks so freaking badly, but yes, this is why it's being sold. Why am I as a shareholder going to hold on to a stock that has a division that burns money? Lyb has amazing cash yields during good times, so I'll continue buying, but Jesus refinery sucks as a business and I'll be happy to divert the proceeds to more share buybacks.

  2. Also, take the uk. They unbanned fracking with Liz truss, then rebanned it with rishi. I'm not deploying energy projects there then. Ever. They can f off. I'm not gunna risk my money on their whims. We have high energy costs because liberals went insane with regulations making it very hard to run this already extremely difficult business. New investors into the field like myself noticed the imbalance and we aren't like the old investors, we don't drill for the fun of drilling. People don't understand that we had low energy prices in part because people in this industry are a little weird and just like doing it. They literally lose money for years on end. New investors? We're not going to let you lose money. Dude, we are done with the idiocy of the past, either buyback the cheap stock, or you're fired. We will vote you out... Voting ceos for firing is EASY. ceos only last 3 years on average after all.

  3. Amazon, Facebook, Google, all posted lower net income numbers... But are making record profits... Is she brain damaged? My stock portfolio has companies with net income deteriorating... We aren't making record profits....
