  1. The reason they didn't do this is there's not actually in inflation problem. Some people bet on inflation occurring, it didn't, and now they are trying to make their trade work by spamming the media with the idea. Similar to game stop getting trading halted, this is just big players messing with the media to try and make you, make a mistake so that way they can profit off of it.
