  1. It doesn't matter if it's a harsh sentence. People get harsh sentences right here in America and we don't release them. How many people are sitting in jail right now for Marijuana violations that are now legal? She broke the law in a foreign land, and was too cheap to even bribe the police. It's weird because so many Americans say you love to travel and have no idea how the world works. You rarely get arrested on petty charges like this. Ever. She did something stupid, and didn't want to play their internal game and was punished. This is like me, driving in Nigeria during the holidays, and not carrying cash for the army to give them as gifts. Well, enjoy going to jail. Dude, learn how other countries work, or don't travel. If you expect America to bail you out by trading war criminals for you then you are the problem. If she was in the Middle East and she was caught stealing she could have had her hand cut off, it doesn't matter how hard the law is to you that's the law of their country and you need to respect other people's countries.

  2. I'll shorten up what I said. Respect the customs of other Countries, don't expect America to trade war criminals for you. Stealing a candy bar can get your hand chopped off. I don't care if you don't like the laws of another country, you don't purposely break them, expecting America to just give you get out of jail free cards. She traveled to a country, broke the law, didn't even have the common courtesy to pay the right bribes, and now, we are supposed to bail her out? I'm not happy she's home, this sets a bad precedent, and now, I won't be able to just pay bribes abroad... I'll actually just be detained because they will now go for war criminal trades instead.
