  1. 1:30 they're wrong, and the revisions are so drastic. I used to have to write reports on this for work. I'd write a report. Then, the revision comes in, and the client asks "well, does any of this still apply? You said the government contracted because of a bill which lowered government spending but now the revision says government expanded.". You literally can't use the data. I don't use it beyond understanding the markets react to it but the revision is so drastic, you can't make any decision from it.

  2. 3:30 this is a lie. I've been dealing with this issue since I first started looking at the data, pre covid before deciding to not use it entirely because it's so useless. The revisions happen for 1 year. A 1 year lagging indicator isn't useful.

  3. They do revisions literally up to 10 years later for certain data points. I'll give a secret away that's not much of one. You're better off reading the bank reports. Bank of America, jp Morgan, have better real time data on the economy. Their REPORT is useful. Not what they say. Good luck.
