  1. I really wanted a 996 turbo, back when they were cheap. I drove mom's v6 accord, and realized, the Porsche would just be too fast. I'll still go with a 996/997 but I'll go with a much lower end model, and I'll also look into detuning the car to make it slower.

  2. Fast cars are show pieces. You can't use them. The 600LT is my dream car, for visual reasons. But usability? Base or s model 996/997. And I'll probably end up spending money upgrading the interior touch points. Otherwise, I don't want fast car.

The new Porsche base model has as much horsepower as old turbos. You have to buy used to get the 997.1 level hp and perf
