Core thing is exactly what I came to. The bank had basically no equity as of year end, and any person who opened the financials would panic. The financials were released recently, so that's why people freaked. And if you've done this work, you probably know of the other banks on brink of collapse too. Lol... They also spend 150M on marketing. Then, another 100M on reshoots. Months later, if they shoot the movie in the uk, we then get their tax filing, and see they spent 400M. But they media reported the 150M budget as cost. What you're seeing here, isn't the full training cost. It's a subset of the training cost. And again, none of this is remotely close to the end game of what's being achieved anyway. We're still trillions of dollars of ai compute away from that. Even if you were ignorant enough to think they magically reduced training costs by half or something, it wouldn't change anything. We're still so far away from end game, it's like worrying who's in the lead, 5m in to a 1500m race. It's stupid.

"hey, I invested 10M to build this road for my mom's birthday" when in reality, you needed it anyway and it will have use far beyond that one date. So they're saying they spent money for the world cup to build things like an airport they already needed.

  25. T-Mobile isn't about 5G to your phone it's about 5G. Think about it logically, we don't use phone landlines anymore once the cell phone technology was good enough, once 5G Tech is good enough most people don't need an internet land-line. With sufficient 5G rollout, T-Mobile can start taking away AT&T and Verizon home internet market share. I can tell you right now, if I have the option to get T-Mobile 5G to home or use my current landline provider who treats it like a monopoly, I'm going to go with the $50 a month T-mobile. 5g is good enough for the majority of people's internet needs except for gamers

Imo, this event shows people really aren't used to reading bank Financials. I thought it sucked, but do 20+ reports and these companies are pretty easy to understand. I think it's a good bet, but at 8.00 it was way better. There's a lot of mispricing in this type of stuff. With everyone indexing, no one actually understands these businesses that don't work well in your terminal

I mean, unless you fucking want the US to go through a recession and decline, while China continues to boom and surpass us. Remember, every country is trying to make its economy outgrow the others. So betting on recession is literally betting against yourself and on economic prosperity, which I personally don't want to risk a recession and losing ground on a communist powerhouse. Serious recession for America isn't a fun thought to entertain, people really haven't thought through the consequences, this isn't some stupid culture war or political thing because you hate what xyz group is doing, it's an actual threat where we could potentially lose our global dominance to a communist country, and potentially fuck over the whole free world.

It's as much a psychological thing as a real thing. So really, in our current political climate where people always pick opposite sides, it actually can happen if half the country decides to believe it. Given Russia and China would both love to see America get kicked down a peg, they would be straight idiots if they didn't run an influence campaign against America in that manner. Creating box to troll comments sections all across someone's countries internet discussions is very easy to do. Try actually doing due diligence and reading reports. Tesla is the most profitable auto company in America now. 2023 Tesla will have the highest cash flow. If you read GM and Ford slide deck, they focus on ebitda... Tesla. Ebitda, 20B, GM and Ford? 10B. I'm honestly thinking you guys can't read the financials, but it's even worse... You never open them. You just see news and headlines... You don't actually read each quarterly report of companies... If you actually read the slide decks, financials, etc. You'd see just how stupidly profitable Tesla is, on every single metric. But no one does.... Worrying about 40k inventory when GM has 400k is hilarious..
