Half a year money to burn a lawsuit? No problem. I don't own fox shares. Personally since I'm worried their profits are too tied to elections but I know the business well, and they made a smart decision.

I tried to explain it to my sister that it will be looked at as an extremely unfair, one time bailout, essentially paying out democrat voters. The majority of student loan debt is held by women who, if you went to college are more likely to be left. So they are literally paying their voters out a bribe to vote for them. That personally is one of the reasons. I stopped supporting the democratic party. I just couldn't believe such blatant favoritism in a plan, that has literally solves nothing and just throws money at the problem. All those people who didn't go to college, because they didn't think it would be essentially made free. But she just regurgitated the talking point of how people are struggling under debt and WE MUST HELP THEM. I ask, even during sky high inflation? Yes. The party only cares about virtue signaling, not solving problems
