  1. Gyms aren't essential maybe, but when you have no way to work out and weight equipment was sold out, it does take a toll on your body to not work out. I started to develop muscle deterioration, but couldn't go to the gym. So I worked out at home, and ended up injuring myself, that was beginning of pandemic. Now, years later, I'm still paying to rehab. So ya, it may not be essential, but it does effect our lives to be stuck at home constantly.
