@IP0Monsturd I mean, he and Nancy Pelosi are on record numerous times. But to be fair to normies, if they watch mainstream news, not once did mainstream news push back and show the flip flopping. The mainstream news just cheerleads the government. Hell, some are former employees like Jen psaki. You can't blame people when media is running a psy op. If you aren't on YouTube or Twitter, you hear only what the media wants. It wasn't until I used YouTube that I understood how bad the lies were. Before, I got all my news directly from npr, cnbc, and Bloomberg. People don't expect multiple mainstream news outlets to lie/deceive. It wasn't until Kyle Rittenhouse that I understood just how much they bend the truth.

@DaTooch_e a national emergency in the loosest sense.... If he had done this right away, yes, that argument would work. He waited until covid was essentially done. And we know these were meant to be targeted, not broad wide debt relief.... It's not even a solution. The next batches of kids are screwed. It's a huge mask off moment. They prefer to buy votes now, and have no intention of fixing the issue because they will hold it over everyone's heads every election. "I'll forgive another 10-20k". Lol, if he really has that power, why didn't he forgive 100% of current and future debt? Because... He doesn't..... Obviously.... Spending is done by congress, not by president. Otherwise, he would have done this day one. Instead, he did it before midterms to get votes.

@DaTooch_e if he really cared about student loan debt, they would have passed a law capping tuition increases... But they didn't. Even when they controlled house, senate, and presidency. Instead, they said, we will subsidize the student loans, and pay them off, so please colleges, raise tuition more. We'll see college tuition go up by 20k to absorb future hand outs. Instead of capping tuition and forcing colleges to explain the job prospects and salaries of majors, you want to throw money at them.... K....
