  1. This wasn't just a 4chan thing. This was an internet old guard vs new mobile users. Ostracized people were online a lot, and the internet was nerdy and not cool. And then all of a sudden the internet was mainstream, and "newbies" kept coming on, and trolling them was easy. 4chan was the worst of it, or close to it, but lots of internet communities felt the same way and openly trolled in similar manners.

  3. Lol, if you think this is high quality..... It's shiny editing, with 30 seconds of research. Most of the content is his standard "everything sucks, people are too poor to afford stuff". Never mind 10% of the country has over a million in assets, and the top 20% drive most spending, he focuses on how terrible everything is because it's just a way to cater to his audience by complaining about everything. New phones that Apple releases are purely for the chip and the camera. The new chip is amazing. Console level graphics (ps3-ps4), hardware ray tracing, Nvidia level dlss, just to name a few new features. He obviously doesn't understand chips because this is huge. Every apple chip is a cutting edge marvel. But ya, if you don't push your phone to the limit, of course it doesn't feel like an upgrade. It's like giving your grandma an rtx 4090. Of course she won't notice.

The reason is, California pensions are crazy enough to actually sell your stock if your ESG rating is low and they hold so much stock that they can completely tank your stock price which ruins your bonus and people are really weird about losing one year's bonus. Yes, I know you could just tie the bonus to actual company profits or something but that would be reasonable, we don't do that in business we tie it to the stock price

The current movement is powerful, women are much more group oriented than men, and it has caused an extremist movement.   6. It's something to complain about, and the meta is complaining. He says every iPhone release was major, yet doesn't explain why... They never were major. This upgrade is actually relatively big. Apple version of Nvidia dlss is added, 100% neural engine improvement, hardware ray tracing, improved efficiency cores for better battery life, really, it's a freaking computer. And if you don't geek out about specs, you don't need to upgrade. Lots of people want the new specs. My sister uses the chip for video editing. Instead of buying a pc, she got a new phone, Bluetooth keyboard, and cable for a monitor. She can do all her editing on the phone (or iPad mini). If you don't need speed, then don't keep upgrading. But some of us, need speed. Basically, people use their phones for Microsoft word, and don't understand some people use their phone for far more intensive tasks.

The model makes sense, you can make profits along the way, but it's actually better to not do that, lose money, and make money later. Doing it that way, yields a more valuable valuation in the model. Hence, why investors pay so much for companies that lose money. It's a high risk, idiotic reward. You risk a couple hundred thousand, maybe a few million to make billions.. The strategy works. I've seen it with my own eyes the billions people make when successful. There is no better way to play the game currently. A company that is small, but profitable, is a red flag. It's how I got fired from my first job. I didn't lose money fast enough... The valuations aren't artificial, the people behind this are billionaires because they employ winning strategies. People like to laugh at it and call them cheaters rather than understand the game and play.

If apple gave users macos style interface on phone (thing Samsung dex) they would make other products irrelevant. The iPhone is fast enough, most people don't actually need a laptop. Apple just makes sure the iPhone isn't perfect when docked to a monitor so you still want a laptop. Otherwise, the iPhone is good enough. It's probably as fast as a computer from 2012 now.

  14. The major improvement is the neural engine, and you aren't going to understand how that improves the phone until later. But it actually is a huge improvement. Neural engine and gpu upgrades allow ps3-ps4pro graphics on your phone. They added dlss upscaling (metal fx upscaling), ray tracing, etc. I get your channel is supposed to trash modernity, but this is a normal upgrade for cpus, gpus, etc. And it's going to bring console level gaming to phones. This is big, whether apple sold you on it or not.

  18. Depends on what you do on your phone. My sister runs her whole YouTube channel off her iPhone. So these upgrades are important. They improve video editing speeds, rendering speeds, etc. It's like complaining pcs aren't getting faster, because you only use word.... Of course, then pc upgrades don't matter. Gamers and video editors, if matters. And now, phones are pcs. So unless you game, or video edit, or something else on your phone, these upgrades don't matter. But if your iPhone is your main pc, it matters. 30% gpu performance, hardware ray tracing, apple version of dlss, means when you "dock" your iPhone to a monitor, you've got a strong device. You can emulate up to ps2-ps3 games on it, maybe further with this new iPhone. So it does way more. Just because you don't use it, doesn't make it not valuable to others.

  19. Spot on, but the industry is confusing to outsiders. I lost my first job for not losing money fast enough. I couldn't wrap my head around spending millions of dollars that fast at such a young age. The industry is wild. I was able to optimize the financials and hand it off, but spending millions of dollars that quickly to grow that fast, to turn later still have a plan to be profitable is not an easy task, and the people in charge are 23-30. Best practices for data? You don't even know them. Even if a dev wanted to do that, I'd have to authorize it and I as the finance guy am spending money to grow, not to do some weird compliance thing no one at the time cares about.

The finance part/scale part, we do so many weird things in finance that would take years to explain the rationale its better to just ignore "high finance" as it doesn't make sense if you take it at basic face value the way moon has done. $10B can be expensive today, but tomorrow, it can be worth a $100B. Just look at Tesla. From 5-10B to 500-1000. Spending 10B in this world isn't much. For Microsoft that's just play money.... 10B for 300M users is a no brainer, and I'm upset they didn't offer 20B as a Microsoft shareholder... Bruh... That's free money... Come on... It's because of just how long it takes to do a video, so when you are doing a video like this and you are almost done, then things changed drastically. this is why I don't do videos of right before earnings. He decided to do a video on a subject that he's not an expert in and he didn't even utilize any of the information on the investor portal.

Now if you look at Tesla earnings Tesla has the highest profits of any American Auto Company, the highest EBIT of any American auto, and the highest margins. Hence the massive run. 12 billion of net income on 80B of revenue, compared to 150B revenue from Ford and GM for a loss from Ford and a 10b profit from GM. When you put the numbers in the actual context of Tesla's competitors that's why the stock moved. Combine that with a large amount of slack in the auto market talked about by the YouTuber four-wheel Trader, and yes that's why Tesla has upside momentum because it has extremely high profit margins and we still are missing two million Vehicles which gives Tesla a lot of room for growth

If you play any video games, think of the steam deck. That's not a failure right? The chip in the iPhone is as powerful as that, I'd say arguably more. But, has the tech for dlss. If you keep up with this, Nvidia just launched neural accelerated (or ai, I hate these terms) ray tracing. So as apple servers process images, they will release new ray tracing and upscalers. Again, no one forces you to buy a new gpu every year. You don't find this year's gpu to be enough? Wait? Most people upgrade every 5 years or so. Apple already worked into movies. Next is AAA gaming. And when every iPhone will be able to do decent Graphics which is about either this generation or next generation, and more people have those than the console install base, devs will native code to the iPhone Os.

So the iPhone would have more gaming horsepower than a Nintendo switch, one of the largest selling consoles... This is the future of gaming. Apple has way better chip design than Samsung and Qualcomm, so by making this a graphics and artificial intelligence fight, apple can outspend them. I literally got fired from my first job in Venture Capital because I didn't lose money. You have to understand, it's such a completely different world, normal thinking doesn't apply.
