  5. His story was never why I invested in Tesla... I don't care about his story.... That's not relevant to me. Him as a person, I don't care about. I recognize a smart person when I see one, and the product made perfect sense when I saw the details. The model s especially, the second I saw it, and saw how he could produce it, it was over. I knew he'd make it. The rest of it? Welcome to silicon valley idiot..... You think ANYTHING you see and hear is real? You're genuinely stupid then. Every single story you hear about founders is a lie. There are so many books on this, im mind boggled people still believe this stuff. We care about making money in the venture world. You don't sell every second of your life towards this industry for free.

  6. It's been one year.... If you can't figure out why it has the highest valuation you are literally stupid.... Artificial intelligence and data collection. This is so basic it hurts... Google, Facebook, etc. First mover to collect data to build an ai model faster than anyone else. No one else has as many care on the road collecting data. The company has the highest margins of any car company, and this was OBVIOUSLY going to happen because it's a simpler design and when you scale it, margins are idiotic. Hate him all you want, but some of us can do basic math and we got it right on Tesla.... Then, throw in dojo, and a Tesla humanoid bot? He's doing exactly what a Sci fi technology person would do, and that's worth a few trillion if successful...

  10. Or it's a cultural thing, go to Africa and set a timeline on something and see what happens, he's South African if you take any of this timeline seriously you're stupid. None of the investors care about the timeline, it's all of you people that are watching. None of us pay attention to his timelines, all we care about is what the product is and that it is eventually coming. We all make our own timelines and judgments, any person who takes a CEO's comments at face value deserves to lose money.

  11. 6:30 while I understand that losing money may seem bad, this is Venture Capital you're talking about, losing money in venture capital is okay. I literally got fired from my first job in Venture Capital because I didn't lose money. You have to understand, it's such a completely different world, normal thinking doesn't apply. Losing money is fine in that world, all you need is user growth. Making money comes later. When someone gives you tens/hundreds of millions of dollars and tells you to burn it to get users, and you don't, you lose your job. It requires breaking parts of your mind to be successful. You get paid well for it... But you're never the same.
