Comments by "Maxwell Benz" (@Tential1) on "Why Elon Musk Is A Fraud" video.
If other ev companies have caught up to Tesla, why is Tesla the only person with a profitable ev division? GM and Ford lose money on every ev. Tesls made 12.6 billion in profits for 2022. Ford lost 2.2 billion.... Why am I worried about American auto companies that have single digit margins?

If we are using stock price declines as proof a company is screwed, the where's the video on Nvidia when it dropped 65?

@AlexanderTheGoodEnough they also increase operating margins even with price cuts. Literally a slide in their q4 slide deck. But people never read 😭

Yes. It technically lost market share. When you own the whole market, and it's growing, you lose market share... Doesn't mean anything... They sold record numbers of cars... Expecting Tesla to have 80% marketshare forever in autos is stupid.....

He didn't use a 'from a financial statement or a Tesla slide deck. Never trust a person who talks about a stock and doesn't even open their financials.

@ganiniii so now, we judge stocks by assuming everyone bought the peak, and that the peak valuation is correct... Idiocy. You don't factor in Tesla growth rate or that they have the highest net income of any north American auto maker.... Why should GM be valued more than Tesla, when it makes less profits on more revenue? 10B of profit from GM isn't impressive when Tesla makes far less cars and made 12B of profit this year....

Yup. The curse of editing your video on an extremely volatile stock. It's not the first time people have cheerlead a 70% Tesla ddock

A lot of the issue with Elon Musk is that people come into it with a preconceived notion and then find the information to support that. If I wasn't take this video seriously I would expect him to quote in the actual Tesla financials. But I can't. He didn't show any screen grabs from it.

It's because of just how long it takes to do a video, so when you are doing a video like this and you are almost done, then things changed drastically. this is why I don't do videos of right before earnings. He decided to do a video on a subject that he's not an expert in and he didn't even utilize any of the information on the investor portal.

he most likely started the video before Tesla earnings. Now if you look at Tesla earnings Tesla has the highest profits of any American Auto Company, the highest EBIT of any American auto, and the highest margins. Hence the massive run. 12 billion of net income on 80B of revenue, compared to 150B revenue from Ford and GM for a loss from Ford and a 10b profit from GM. When you put the numbers in the actual context of Tesla's competitors that's why the stock moved. Combine that with a large amount of slack in the auto market talked about by the YouTuber four-wheel Trader, and yes that's why Tesla has upside momentum because it has extremely high profit margins and we still are missing two million Vehicles which gives Tesla a lot of room for growth

How many quotes were done from the actual financials in this video? Because most people that cover Tesla refuse to read the earnings reports of any of these auto companies they just do the most basic Google research rather than reading the financials. Tesla had twelve billion of net income compared to GM's 10 billion in Fords 2.2 billion dollar loss so why is that not being highlighted?

@Jupa the price cut isn't actually 20% you can't read headlines. You need to do your own work if you want to play this game buddy. Also, Tesla has increased margins, as average selling prices decreased. Also, despite GM saying they weren't lowering prices and Ford and Tesla saying they would, data showed GM lowered prices most. You HAVE TO DO YOUR OWN WORK. if you want to trade stocks. Financial media has lots of misdirection. We have lots of strategies for legally putting out misinformation

Where was a video on Nvidia when it's stock price declined 65%? Using stock prices as anything relevant to the underlying company is stupid. Traders do dumb things.

@gandalf_thegrey if they do, why is their operating margin twice as high.... You don't read financials.... It's obvious.... Go read the full 10-K first. Why did Ford post a 2.2B loss for 2022? Why was Ford EBIT, 10B, vs Tesla EBIT of 15B? You don't know these financials.... It's obvious. Tesla EBIT margin is 19%.Ford is 5-6 and GM is 9%. Use actual financials, not just your rant of text based on feelings.

The company is the most profitable auto company in America.... It's doing better than anyone else. Ford and GM are therefore "focusing on quality" and still making insanely minimal margins.

@tedkaczynskiamericanhero3916 he sold extremely minimal amounts.... It's not relevant. People cry either way. He didn't sell, he sold the top, blah blah. Every ceo sells a portion of stock to cover personal expenses. Elon is the only ceo you guys watch. Ask people to name 10 ceos and they can't. Beyond zuck, Elon, and Bezos, people are clueless....
