  6. The reason shein exists has nothing to do with slave labor. It has to do with customers. Customers, who virtue signal to the world how much they care about progressive ideals, protecting women, paying Americans good wages, stopping waste. These same women then go out and support slave labor businesses. It's so common in the most progressive spots to have this hypocrisy. Same thing with energy. California won't drill for energy it has. It just imports the energy. Because if someone else drills for it, and I buy it, they're bad, not me(EU does this too).

  7.  @harlisviikmae6240  ya, it's just, tsmc did something very amazing for Taiwan. It gave them something everyone in the world needs that no one else can reproduce. Intel technically will start, but here's the issue with Intel. Who would use a leading edge fab that Intel makes? Apple, amd, Samsung, Nvidia. Who are Intel competitors? Those same companies. If I make my chip on your fab, you will learn how my chip works intimately and use it against me. The only way Intel competes is if it splits its business which is really hard to do. Samsung, eh, they are leading edge, but barely. So tsmc, just is so good, and so necessary to the world, to so many countries, doing something no one else can reproduce, that Taiwan just can't be touched. I'm actually more surprised China didn't freak out about hauwei, but again what can they do? If they attack, they lose anyway, and potentially provoke a world war, because if you think America will let Apple fail because we lost Taiwan with no consequences, you're a little mistaken.... That would cause a recession, and America gets really pissy about money.

  8.  @RacoonFighter  it's because of the frequency. He puts out too much content. I literally came across the same info for a video I'm doing and knew it was only natural gas. Most people won't fact check it. I was doing it for trading, so being wrong is much worse. He made better content before, but now, it's good visuals to distract from relatively basic takes.

  10. We overestimate other people's military capabilities, America has a lot of military know-how, that makes us a way better at using military than anyone else. The Chinese military is not formidable. The Chinese military is just like Russia once it starts to move, you're going to see the actual flaws, it's all a paper tiger.

  13. For example of understanding this, for Germany, Russia supplies them with 30B of natural gas a year or something. Germany turns this into 2 trillion of manufacturing output. It hurts Russia, but this is the equivalent of boycotting the grocery store. You pay them way less than your income. Say thing. The amount you spend on energy is minimal compared to the output. Russia can survive a few hard years. Europe can not survive a multiple trillion dollar economic output gap. You'll destroy the whole economy.

  15. Check the manufacturer for rebates, that's saved me tons of money usually the manufacturer has a rebate program. I think it's how they can charge high prices. "well, we offer coupons so it's actually cheaper".

  23. They couldn't take Taiwan. Already saw the video on it. Tactical nightmare. There's nowhere to land troops. Getting the troops to Taiwan to take it over is the problem. Just because they are geologically close, doesn't mean it's militarily feasible. It makes sense too, if it was any easier they would have already done it. It's too many logistical issues, and you have to take the country WITHOUT destroying the semiconductor fabs or its supply chain, otherwise, Taiwan as a country, no offense, is worthless.

As a trader, it's close to nuclear warfare. It's something I try not to think about. Actually just as a human... Life as we know it would essentially just not work...

Spending on a cc instantly reflects how much remaining money I have. If you don't use an app to track your accounts into one central location you are literally crazy. I make every person I am friends with use the app. It's the easiest way to track every single account into one aggregated place

If they could, China would do it at home, right now, rather than capture Taiwan, destroy factories, then order parts they can't get, with know how they don't have, to rebuild it. They need the exact existing factories and personnel, because if they attack they lose access to asml, the person who supplies their machines, so they can't just build new ones. Asianometry has TONS of videos in every step of the fab process and Linus tech tips has a recent walk through of Intel fab. Creating a leading-edge Fab is literally impossible that's why only Intel tsmc and Samsung do it. China has been trying for the last 10 years with no success, another ten years wouldn't help them

  38. People need to stop acting like Tesla investors were climate change warriors... It's a good investment.... I never cared about changing the world. I cared that the company is on track to be a top 10 profitable company in the next 5 years. Tesla already makes more money per quarter now than gm, Ford, etc. Only Toyota beats it, and that's because these companies do way more volume. Tesla is profitable as f now on miniscule car sales. Gonna hit 10B in net income this year, and 50B in the next 5 years... It's easy money....
