  1. ​ @deepergodeeper7618 it's because most of these people have never traveled the world so they assume that everyone wants to come to America. America is only good to come to if you need to work here. She doesn't need to work here cuz she already has a good job. I have a lot of family that doesn't want to come here. They're happy and their multi-million-dollar Mansions overseas and they don't want to come to America to downgrade their lifestyle. Americans just assume they have the best lifestyle because they have never experienced anything else. I have family that will come here buy stuff and then go back home. The crime alone in a lot of spots in america, makes no sense compared to a lot of places overseas. And even if the area is poorer, you just have armed guards and security that takes you everywhere so you never really interact with the poor you just interact with yourself and all of your wealthy friends and family. Americans will just never get it because they've just will never understand anything other than their lives. Which, once you've been around the world America is not that amazing. People normally come here to send money home to family

  3. ​ @ZontarDow for people that work normal jobs may be, but that doesn't apply to Melina. If she wants to live in Sweden, and she makes good money then she'd be getting taxed twice because America is the only country in the world that taxes you no matter where you live. American citizen doesn't make sense for everyone. This makes sense to people like you may be, because you're from America and you don't travel the whole world and you don't own property across the world, but for those of us that have property in multiple countries, it's not like American citizenship is the end all be all. I can easily replicate the same thing, just by buying houses or citizenship in other countries. Unless you work with a good tax accountant and structured your Investment Portfolio correctly, having American citizenship but then living in the EU is insanity because you wouldn't get to keep any of your money. You would be better off just revoking your American citizenship in living in the EU. For a lot of people to tax shield applies, but for Molina with her income she's going to get a hit with a lot of her income so no it's not worth it
