  2.  @emmanuelokoye1077  then you lose watch time, and once you start creating videos and you realize how much watch time percentage matters then you don't want to have things in your video that people don't watch. One of the things that I've been proud of in my most recent uploads, this isn't my upload profile obviously, is how well I've been able to get down to just the core content that people actually want to see. YouTube penalizes you a lot for videos that people don't want to watch the full thing so it's better just to cut out the things that people constantly skip over
