  1. We have a oligarchy. When a person gets less votes and gets the office is an absurdity. Then the president's past who is checkered with fraud convictions and various other fines, lies about the most absurd things including his net worth... now his current affiliates relating directly to him now convicted on many counts and some guilty plea citing him, the outrage is quite justified. And no, we don't have a democratic republic, we again have a kleptocracy aka oligarchy. No other election observer that verifies elections in newly formed republics will actually observe US elections because we don't meet their basic qualifications for transparency and consistencies in elections. And when about half (45%) don't even bother to vote in a general election, and 63% don't vote in midterm elections... that disenfranchisement one observes in tyrannical despotic nations. We have plenty of reasons to be rather pissed off... if this was France or Italy or Spain.... those countries protest at a drop of a hat, our economy would be at a standstill with everyone dropping work and protesting until trials were started and a new fresh elections were held.
