Basically Friedman completely debunks the point of economics about getting what one deserves or should get. The entire point of economics gone. Just have a fucking free for all mafioso; his "hidden hand". Oh wait, his ideas entrenched that concept we're suffering from, almost world wide. But more so in the US. What's actually happening now, with the essentially inexhaustible supply of world wide labor in perpetually developing nations is that men's pay is falling in parody with women's pay. He should have mentioned that possibility... but then he'd get boos by both men and women.
