  1. I doubt it. Most people don't change their ideology unless their personal economic circumstances change: they become affluent or rich, or after being rich they become poor or low income. Then you have a change in their ideology, and that moment, depends on how much they know: education, travel and experience in other nations, know about languages, mathematics, knowledge on philosophy, etc.
