  1. What's terrifying is this isn't that long ago. And no I'm not ancient myself... in my 30's. But my dad was born in the late 1940's... (yes now having to specific which 40's)... my grandparents in the 1920's and early 1930's... great grandparents late 1880's.... Lots of things happen... but in the amount of time is actually very short. I'm realizing getting old and watching everyone older going through older phases that I didn't think was possible... time goes by way to quickly. Beyond cliche. As you hear it all the time, but don't understand the reality of it until you're developing your first serious wrinkles and seeing others even younger than you get gray hair... or lose their hair.
