And the other guy saying Canada is tuition free is flat wrong. They pay tuition is about the same as in the US at a public state university: CA$6,463 per year for an undergraduate degree, and CA$7,056 per year for a graduate degree. Difference is no student loan can be discharged due to bankruptcy in the US unless disability severe enough decided by a judge. Canada, you can declare bankruptcy after 7 years since the last class date of study. And even Canada has a large current student loan debt and rising, and more difficulty pay off.   2. That's what I thought... was like Canadians have tuition and it's about the same as our state universities in the US. The only fortunate thing for Canadians is that after 7 years of last study, Canadian bankruptcy law allows such student loans to be discharged. In the US, it requires severe disability determined by a judge, usually a loss of limb, or mentally permanently mostly or completely incapacitated.
