  1. Most economist these days are worthless. They fail at any predictions any try to make, and many refuse to even try to make predictions... the point of any science. Meteorology with all the variables of weather tend to not be the most accurate predictions, yet make better predictions and all at least try. Economics should be listed among the theology department. The race to the bottom is already entering full circle. China, Brazil, and many other emerging markets are in the tank, trade overall has dropped over the past 3 years all while the US dollar had gained in international buying power... the reason, once rich nations like the US and nations in western Europe saw their working class wages drop and can no longer demand much from the emerging markets where so much outsourcing has been done. And China, Mexico, Brazil, etc. have all failed to create their own middle class to demand goods from us and from their own manufacturing in their own countries. So the entire thing sputters and stops. No more demand, and supply gets cut even in 3rd world low wage shit holes. And then the entire world wakes up and realizes they've been had.
