These people are so disconnected from workers, they only see office workers in their line of work, and only observe operators at a computer consul when they visit other workplaces, but they don't stay or visit other areas and watch workers running around to various lines to keep product running, constantly fixing jam here or there, ignore utility workers out in the field all day repairing water lines, hanging electrical lines, fixing meters, using jackhammers, construction crews, plumbers, electricians, welders, truck drivers, mechanics, etc. Somehow, everyone works at a call center, does accounting, data entry, teaches at a public school or college, or otherwise sits at a desk.... no. More than half of those desk jobs like data entry and call center pay shit, they're generally not a career job anymore... data entry is nearly extinct. And one only need so many accountants and book keepers. Those desk jobs really make up a fairly small portion of our overall economy.... especially considering many call centers left overseas to India. Out of fucking touch.
