  1. The polls shouldn't be a surprise. Last 40 years, and us coming up in that era, we no longer have sick pay bucket and a vacation bucket, we no longer have pensions, but a joke of a fucking 401K, insurance that's absurd, rents that soar beyond other inflation, housing that should depreciate not appreciate because they slowly wear out and must be remodeled and often rebuilt as a vehicle does, and wages have bottomed out, and don't keep up with what 1% to 2% inflation that is admitted by the government. So we're a generation that sees our goofy fucking ass economy to what it is, a failed military banana republic return to robber baron stupidity. And we have the internet. We know someone from every major developed and many other poorer countries. We're not in a bubble: we know we're being screwed in a vicious cycle of stupidity. Thus the old propaganda is as phony and hollow as the shit the USSR would push on their people; an open joke nobody pays attention. The 6 major remaining media conglomerates are our version of the USSR state run media that nobody pays any real attention other than to laugh at it.
