  1. I remember almost immediately how CNBC, MSNBC, CNN, etc. were pushing this concept of the gig economy as if it was wonderful, and how as they put it "the new normal". Any news sources that cite "new normal" are trying to set a narrative like bad Rx medicine. I was thinking, are they fucking nuts? Gig economy? I mean don't they see the comedy in just the name let alone in just a few moments of thought what freelancing means?
