  1. The system has left a large minority of people without the ability to discern fact from fiction. The internet has allowed such buffoons to gather and become a political force. The status quo can't figure out a way to put the gene back in the bottle. This mafioso idiocy has occurred many times in the past when major inventions from writing (Ancient Greece with Athens establishing democracy) to printing press with the Protestant schism, then with radio and tv, now with the internet... people take over establishment who are often stupid from the suppression of the establishment build another stupid until wars, civil wars, and other discontentment until the people are sufficiently less stupid they may create something better than the past establishment. The internet is as great as an invention in giving a blow horn as writing and later the printing press.
