Sell a 1300-1800 sqt home in CA selling for about million or more. Then buy a home in Idaho, Boise from $300K for expensive areas to as low as $140K. When they're dead, homes will be up for sale. Lots of homes. Like a 3rd of homes in the Boise area will be up for sale starting 15 to 20 years from now. Possibly sooner. Retirees tend to be in their mid 60's, life expectancy is 79.
