Every time I voted in Idaho through the years, all of them use a form of a paper ballot. Its usually the fill in the dots bubble sheet. One time it was one of those chad punch cards that Floridians apparently couldn't figure out. Paper ballots are the way to go. Idaho despite it being currently a red state, has some decent laws, mostly written before it became a red state; same day registration, you can sign an affidavit if you don't have a full utility or bank statement showing your address. And one year I had to sign an affidavit as I was recently out of the Air Force and didn't have any proof of address. And our election laws apply to primaries/caucuses. Same day registration. And no party affiliation required. With one holdout to party politics; if that party requires you not to vote in other primaries/caucuses, you're not allowed to do so. Not sure the legal ramification exactly. So you can't vote in DNC and GOP because both parties forbid it; you have to pick which party and that's it. Which kind of makes sense, you wouldn't want a bunch of counter voters voting for your worst candidates and you do the same to them. But at this point, we're already getting crap from both parties.
