  1. We do, its the green party. There's actually over 4 parties... but some tend to have very extreme folks from anarchist to theocratic folks. The two parties that stand out as being decent are the Green party and the Libertarian party. If your policies are liberal/progressive Green is the way to go. If your policies are libertarian Ayn Rand Greed is magically good DNC, RNC, and especially Libertarian Party beckons.

I tried to find poll that asked general population of NY who they would vote for... only one's so far I could find were "democrats" the highest sample was 2,000 people, but the rest were 400 or 300 people. If I were her, I would do a sample poll of the general population of NY to see if she stands a chance at winning over the DNC and RNC on a 3rd ticket.
