  2. It needs to be degrees that are needed including engineering. But granting free access to one item tends to overload it. Several pilot programs fast tracked people into 300 hours of flight time with multi engine training and even 10 hours in a small twin jet Cessna Citation. This got people less than 90 days into co-pilots seats less than half a year a person could be piloting a large airline aircraft. And reduced both captain and co-pilot earnings to the point that the flight attendance were often making more a year. The poorly skilled pilots started crashing and killing people, good pilots sought other careers outside flying since it started making shit and provided poor livelihood, so the FAA adopted minimum of 1,500 hours or 750 hours from prior military pilots. You just don't want to pump one sector with oversupply otherwise you get an argument against universal higher education and vocational training. Needs to satisfy high demand work while ensuring its full round opportunity so not to cause a overflow. And it reduces those who were good engineers and liked doing it for those who had no other option but take the free-be and hate what they're doing and likely not be very good at it.

And some of these others are example of desperate investment money looking for a return chasing other investment money... when you see shit ideas and obvious bogus business spring up, you know your in the middle of a bubble, and when it bursts it won't end well. I call it the silly money barometer. It's already busted for most of the youtubers in the "ad apocalypse" and a year or 2 before that to uber drivers.
