What's idiotic is our grid systems are so antiquated, substations and power plants from hydro to wind to fossil fuel distributions are not on a network, you literally have to have someone at the power plant and some substations to change settings. And those items that are on network, aren't on the internet, they're on their own network that's not connected to the internet. What's bad about our grid system is that its old and inefficient and falling apart.
