  1. Last several weeks, we've been hit in the north west with warm front after warm front. No rain during the summer in Idaho. Now we're getting some rain. And it's warmer than past several winters which were unusually cold and periods of lots of snow with barely no snow.... last year small snow in Idaho. So I can see US WX being somewhat gentle, the issues with flooding in Asia is difficult to comprehend.
