  1. And SpaceX is kind of a gimmick... another contractor like Lockheed or Northrop or Boeing etc. etc. The actual innovation is beyond for profit motive to achieve. And thus we will stagnate until the people not the oligarchs control their governments and again, only if the people are wanting to do space exploration again, willing to spend tax payer money, tax for it and the like.

  3. Capitalism by itself tends not to innovate just exploit other accidental innovation or cause harm calling it innovation, and stealing collective innovation via taxes and vision. Because the profit motive doesn't work for long term long cited things, but needs profit asap. Something like space technology needs more government R&D... I mean the private space companies are only racketeering primarily off government contracts anyway.
