I was surprised Idaho isn't on the list. There's several cities already beginning and some planning on doing city owned and provided internet and development. The internet is a fucking utility, a monopoly/duopoly/oligopoly. Violates most competitive market principles therefore doesn't provide the lowest price and the best quality to use private for profit motive; you end up with expensive prices and shitty quality. Like many other areas of the economy. It's primarily why our healthcare system in the US is a fucking joke.
