  1. I served in the Air Force. After getting my bachelors degree even. Was to work with aircraft, job was in flight refueling "boom operator" because civilian aviation jobs generally are unstable and/or don't pay well. Like a Major who was talking to me about how medicare for all makes us more of a Nanny State. I thought.. WTF? Your employer and mine at the time is the most Nanny employer you can find: they dictate the way you wear your hair to exactly how to wear your uniform, not just what uniform to how to wear it and all the weird customs and courtesies. There is a serious cognitive disconnect among so many people. It's as if they're all chugging copious amounts of lead, and are all experiencing lead poisoning plumbism induced insanity.
