Around August and into September, I had noticeable speed problems on youtube, facebook, and just google searches... my online based email and other websites were unaffected, normal speed, and other speed checkers testing my connection were showing unaffected speeds. I got a few VPN's and youtube and goolge searches were back to normal speed again. Because I'm using free VPN's they have a cap, about end of September, I paused my VPN usage, and back to normal. A few times I had some issues, switched to VPN for a few hours, than turned VPN off, and my connection remained normal. The cable companies and other ISP's are already testing the water. It's very irritating.
