Our founding fathers were a bunch of knuckle heads themselves, they gave us this oligarchical idiot system despite some of their complaining about party politics, they gave us a system that was known (ancient Rome) to end up plutocratic corrupt to the point they engineered a monarchy without calling it such under the emperors than outright military dictatorship.
