  1. Banks don't go bankrupt anymore. Stock markets don't collapse anymore. People don't die of basic malnutrition. This time is different. Famous last words until something happens to show they were fools. Super powers haven't yet gone to war yet, because we're still here and living without radiation; but that provides no reason that they haven't... just that they haven't... yet. We're also luck no loose nukes from the collapse of the USSR and other two bit countries hasn't occurred.

  2. Since 2001 all the presidents have been using a blanket order by congress. Even Obama bombed Syria. But we only pay attention to these things lately when their latest action figure isn't in power. As far as this attack, at least it was aimed at a military base. Not at civilian targets. Supposed evidence of chemical weaponry from that base makes it a clear target. Funny though we humans get bent out of shape over chemical weapons, but conventional weapons maim hundreds of thousands more, and the impact of civil war causes massive famine, disease, and other cruelties. Refugees flood across boarders. And suddenly other nations knowing economically they can't take all of them remarked to the refugees to go back and fight for their country. Compassion ends for them when we can't blow stuff up. LOL! Easy way out and be has hypocritical about it as possible.
