  2. No... that will make more bank runs. ALL banks function the same way... they fractionally reserve meaning... they only keep cash on hand for tiny amount of withdrawals compared to the amount of deposits. So don't. At each bank you have cash in, if it's $250K or less, you're fine. FDIC insures it. And if you have $250K or less each separate brokerage account you have the same $250K in cash and another $250K in securities insured via SIPC. It's not time to be moronic. If you have money in the bank, just let it chill unless you hate that particular bank then find another one. But it's not a time to just panic and run for the hills. You're more apt to pull your money out only for it to get stolen. Or lost.

Used cars and RV's (and more and more destitute in living in RV's in the past decade in the Corporate States of America), we had a known huckster as president who has billions in bad debt with Deutsche Bank, and now a turd who is part of the student loan you can't get bankruptcy protection back in the 80's as our dip dong as President... And a significant mass of people in the Corporate States of America are so brainwashed Stockholm Syndromed that they demand more plutocratic policies that's F'd them up the rear end for 40 years now.
