  1. While it's prettier and probably safer to go underground, it's over exaggerated that it "cut" the city from the waterfront. Lot of bullshit. Parking is available right below it, and access Pikes Market Place and the entire port area and up to the shops and cafe's. That goes by by with even more noise with a big boulevard literally cutting the water front with the shops and condos.
