  2. SF might be a beautiful city, but it's too expensive to live in or near, or even tour when you consider opportunity costs to other cities. Major problem with SF and surrounding area, are the development constraints to keep their city "beautiful". They're a metropolitan gigantic city pretending to be lower density. So it just becomes another boom bust place for rich fucks to squander their money from such booms, and run screaming when the crashes happen.
