  1. I vaguely recall nutmeg being toxic... I think a warning on all bottles are listed. It's like chocolate Theobromine; very toxic to birds and dogs and many other animals, as they can't even tolerate breaking it down, can be very lethal to birds as their weight LD50 and they simply can't break it down. And I love chocolate and have slightly OD on it, had a Theobromine overload, hot sweaty and nauseous. Not fun.
