  2. Fortunately, our representative in the room kept these warmongers out of causing what would have ended in a nuclear annihilation. At the same time, his orders were so vague and tentative he was playing with fucking fire himself. I would have made it perfectly clear: No air attacks until I give the official sign off, no blockade until I sign off on it, and no invasion until I sign off on it. Right now, its just an order for mobilization ONLY!

I like to think it did happen, it's just all the nuclear weapons igniting in such close proximity of time, some simultaneous, that it caused a rip in causality to provide us with our current reality (not that it's super great) but its one that all those things that went right, actually happened.

  5. I would never run for president for many reasons, but if magically I was or even a senator or representative; but as president, I would never be compelled to EVER use a nuclear weapon. EVER. If some idiot nation used a dirty bomb or even a kiloton weapon or even a megaton weapon (very unlikely), I would not retaliate with a nuclear weapon. I would retaliate with the swiftest and most stern invasion. But no nuclear weapons. They're utterly unnecessary and very much kicking yourself in the crotch. And I would move toward dismantling all but a dozen warheads; use the reclaimed radio material for science and energy production. The dozen or two warheads kept would be taken away from an ICBM, at the very least not aimed at any nation. Kept for a very rare, but potential need such as a large asteroid or comet in some last ditch attempt to push it out of intersecting with earth's orbit. Or something else non-war like that is beyond imagination that may require the need for such release of energy. I hope all our nations can just be brave instead of narcissistic psychopathic cowards. It takes bravery and real moral character to give up such evil weapons... and I think one nation starts, particularly a large one, others and then all would follow such brave acts. Then humanity as a whole can be considered truly brave... and perhaps one step closer to becoming an actual intelligent species.
