At least you know if you had it or not.
My plant at work, literally everyone got sick about mid February before the states started to shut down and do any testing, and the news kept saying it was a flu... when really it's more like a very bad cold.
Some did have fevers, everyone had a severe cough. It hurt and made you want to sleep.
I didn't particularly get body aches, but my chest would get serious sharp pains, and the cough was like bronchitis.
It remained for about two weeks.
Everyone was essentially okay first week of March.
By second week of March, I was feeling fine, one or two people seemed to have a serious cold like cough still though. None were tested during that period. Not until April someone at work on a different shift appeared very ill, was sent home and was RNA tested which came back negative.
Since at that time, I guess this is accurate, there were no antibody tests, even today they're debating on some of them that are worthless as they're accuracy is that of flipping a coin.
Would be interested to know if our "plague" as I call it, was COVID19 or one of the influenza A going around.
My symptoms were more cold like, focused squarely in the chest. And the week I started feeling better, no cough, not jarring sharp chest pain, one last symptom that lines up to being COVID19 diarrhea, more like liquid water coming out the rear end. Took Pepto Bismol, and was fine the next day. Never felt a stomach ache or tired during that day.
