No, it's not gone. It only require a law to prohibit the sale of your personal identifiable information without express written consent upon each exchange of such data. Laws still exist, despite rip off con jobbers trying to pretend it doesn't. And the law can take down websites that try to act on the black market to sell such illegal material. It's not impossible. Especially with today's technology. Not because of it. It's the will to fight propaganda and hustlers.
