Same thing here in the states... he put potentially people at risk of injury or death. Additionally, he trespassed and vandalized someone's property... in this case he vandalized the wildlife refuge land. So many criminal acts committed here... And in such accidents in the states, I'm sure in inquiry went out from the NTSB or even the FAA themselves... likely the NTSB who investigates all aircraft incidents like these... if he lied and stated he had a forced bailout... firstly that aircraft was functioning perfectly as a glider... he had plenty of altitude to find a place to ditch the aircraft safely. There was no need to jump from it at the stage he was in.... and he made no attempt as stated in the video to restart the engine... or to even attempt to get the prop to windmill instead doing the opposite. So he could be found guilty of perjury on any forms or verbal statements that he had an emergency engine failure... no he didn't... he turned the engine off and deliberately. So many crimes... so little time this monkey has until hopefully youtube bans his butt. He'll have to go get a real job.

Criminal investigation is passed down from the NTSB to the DOJ... the DOJ then sorts all charges possible and investigates them and determines eventual charges to a judge who then summits the charges to a grand jury trial, the grand jury trial determines if a trial jury is warranted ie an indictment... if indicted, a trial jury is formed and prosecuted on the charges of guilt or innocence. Why these things take a bit of time... we're just in the FAA collaborating with NTSB phase right now... I do hope they refer the case to the DOJ for criminal investigation. It's obvious criminal laws were broken and we cannot condone such behavior.

And he'll have to find an examiner who won't critique every little thing he does to fail him.

Part of a pilot license examination... all incidents where a crash occurs you may only move or manipulate wreckage when it comes to rescue needs. One must leave the wreck alone for NTSB to investigate... this is literally one of the questions that can come up on your written PPL exam. And is also something that comes up on oral exam for your PPL. He should probably be held criminally responsibility... handed over to the DOJ for criminal offenses committed form perjury if he was lying on any incident reports he may have filed... and reckless endangerment. Trespassing on a nature reserve. Unwanted destruction of property. I think he should serve time in prison potentially or better mandatory community service. And he should probably lose his license until his probation is complete. And then... he would need to retake the entire PPL from hours required to written and oral exam all over again.
