  3. It's because of dictatorship communism. It's been conflated to be USSR or China like at least Mao like China. We are a socialist nation, we have social security (the program has it in its name) and medicare/medicaid for very sick and elderly yet doesn't include dental or vision, just medical. And long term daycare for the elderly requires "recovery" meaning they'll have to liquidate assets to pay for those services. Our socialism is weak mix. Presently our oligarchy controls the government and has been weakening it ever since it was started during the FDR era.
