We have a mix economy social-capital: public roads, highways, utilities, ports, parks, judicial, fire departments, police, social security, current medicare and medicaid, military, etc. We need a system that involves more social balance, because we've gone so far to the capital balance that we're in oligarchy which cannot continue to exist unless it installs an authoritarian figure to make sure the workers stay in line, in a system that's getting worse in real income by the generation. Key word democratic socialism. Nobody wants authoritarian rule. Communism in the manner of Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, is the same as the capitalism under fascist Hitler, Mussolini, or the monarchies of old France, China, Russian Czar, etc. None of us are subscribing to that.
