  1. If you wonder why all these idiot start ups including crypto-crap are getting funding: Rich are looking for a return since most nations have low to even negative interest rates. So all the money is going into stupid, in the hopes they're they next Microsoft, Google, Apple, FB, Amazon, etc. Even if it lasts for a short while like Yahoo or AOL... so much money concentrated in such a few hands, the small $100K to even $1 Million to them is casino money; they're able to risk lots because they all have trillions sitting in cash or equivalence (CD's Bonds etc.). So throwing money to stupid is okay in the smaller and smaller concentrated plutocrat cum oligarch spheres. So long as one or two or even three make some sort of return, even if they're discovered to be complete flops, who cares, so long as it brings in a return for a year or two or hopefully a decade or two.
